Why can colors be different between display and print?

Why Colors May Be Different Between Display and Print

Looking at an image on the screen and then seeing it in print can give a different impression.

This happens for some natural reasons:

1. The light of the screen

When you look at an image on a smartphone, tablet or computer, the colors seem more vivid and bright because the device has a light behind it that enhances them. A print, on the other hand, does not have this light and the colors are perceived in a softer way.

2. Paper is different from a screen

Screens display colors with light, while paper absorbs ink. This causes some shades to appear a little different.

3. Each device displays colors in its own way

Not all phones or computers display colors the same way.

Your screen brightness or settings can also affect how you see an image.

4. The print is designed to enhance the image

Mynghers miniatures are printed on a special paper that enhances the details and makes each image unique, even if it may be slightly different from how it appears on the screen.

A unique result

Each print is carefully crafted to best render the colors and original atmosphere of the image, providing a unique and authentic experience compared to digital.

furthermore there may be slight differences in millimetres for the cutting of the prints, compared to digital.
